Wiring looms and accessories: Our wiring looms for TDs & TFs are made using original style braided outer covering over braided wires. There are braided outer and plastic covered wires indicated by PLA. TD looms can be difficult as they can have a dash or foot dip switch and we can supply looms without indicator wires or with wires for either relay operated indicators in the brake light or for separate indicator lights
Indicators relays & switches: From chassis No TD22371, LHD cars were fitted as standard with flashing indicators. The switch was mounted on a bracket under the dash, the wiring harness changed, a flasher unit, a brake light over-ride relay, a warning light in the centre of the dash panel and dual filament bulbs in the front sidelamps were fitted. This type of indicator can be fitted to earlier cars but we can also supply wiring harnesses with wires to separate rear indicator light in which case the brake/flasher relay is not required.
