Product Description
When you fit a standard steering wheel to a TD/TF with just one key way you have to remove the boss from the top of the rack to try and line up the steering wheel. The boss on the steering rack had 48 splines so this gives you still 7.5 degrees out that you will have to take up with the track rod ends.
Our new boss has 4 keys ways all at different offsets and 36 holes on the outside so this give you 144 different mounting points so this takes it down to 2.5 degrees out which is a small amount and much faster to fit as its all done with the boss.
These bosses are UK made for us to our spec.We have also now made cap that will fit this boss and the standard badge and chrome rim will fit into it.Please also see our new caps part number MLB8BGCAP these fit onto our boss and you can fit your standard badge if you want, the other point is the cap is fitted into the boss on an O ring so very easy to line it up.
